Raipur: The programme of distributing funds to Godhan Nyay Yojana beneficiaries began under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel released an amount of Rs. 5 crore 35 lakh online to cow dung vendors, cattle rearing villagers, women’s groups associated with Gauthans and Gauthan committees.
From October 15 to October 31, Rs 4.69 crore was paid against 2.35 lakh quintals of cow dung purchased from cattle rearing villagers, farmers in Gauthans.
Similarly, dividend amount of Rs.39 lakh was paid to Gauthan committees and Rs.27 lakh to women groups.
On this occasion Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Advisor to Chief Minister Shri Pradeep Sharma, Agriculture Production Commissioner Dr. Kamalpreet Singh were present.
