Chief Minister pays tribute to Bharat Ratna Pandit Govind Vallabh Panth on his birth anniversary
Raipur, 09 September 2022 / Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has paid tribute to the freedom fighter, former Home Minister of India, first Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and learned lawyer as well as Bharat Ratna- Pandit Govind Vallabh Panth, on the occasion of his birth anniversary on 10th September. Recalling the invaluable contribution of Mr. Panth towards the country, Mr. Baghel said that Panth ji was an epitome of values and ideals in politics. Besides being an efficient administrator, he was also a great freedom fighter. He not only impetus to the independence movements, but also worked for the advocacy and release of freedom fighters. After independence, Panth ji played an important role in nation building. He was instrumental in dividing the states on linguistic basis and also in recognizing Hindi as the official language in the country. Mr. Baghel said that Panth ji’s works, efforts and contributions will always inspire us to do better and be better.
