Bought a tractor with the money earned
Cow dung becomes an asset for the rural populace

In the ‘Bhent Mulaqat Karykram’ held in the kukdur village of Pandariya Vidhan sabha, A farmer informed the Chief Minister Mr. Baghel about the benefits of the state government’s public welfare schemes which are changing the lives of the rural populace by providing them with additional income oppurtunities. Surendra Kumar, a farmer hailing from Lalpur thanked the Chief Minister for the initiative of Godhan Nyay Yojna, through which Surendra has sold 470 quintals of cow dung. Surendra further said that before the implementation of Godhan Nyay Yojna, cow dung was just used for domestic purposes and alot of cow dung would just remain unused and go to waste, but after the initiative of Godhan Nyay Yojna,cow dung which was once considered as mere waste has achieved the status of asset. Surendra further informed that he has collected and sold 470 quintals of cow dung,and with the money earned, along with buying some farm equipments,he has bought a tractor to plough his farm and get rid of the manual ploughing system which was a time taking and tedious process.
The women members of Nari Shakti Self-Help Group operating in Lokhan Gauthan informed that they have sold 466 quintals of cow dung, from which they have earned Rs 2 lakhs. This money was used to manufacture incense sticks, popcorn etc. and are being sold locally through the grocery store they have opened with the additional income earned from Gauthans.
The Chief Minister,today in the Bhent Mulaqat Karykram also announced to release an installment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojna on 15th or 17th October.
